1. WHO AM I?

Hi, my name is Andres Rivera, I'm 23 years old and I study anthropology at the University of Chile.

I am from Coquimbo and I have a younger sister who is 18 years old. She also studies architecture at the University of Chile, so we are both living here in Santiago.

When I was in high school I didn't know what to study at university.

So she entered Civil Engineering in Mines, where she had a great time, met many friends and learned a lot.

I studied engineering for two years and decided to switch to Kinesiology, where I fell in love with anatomy.

In my second year of Kinesiology, the pandemic arrived, so I decided to freeze and have been working these years until now.

I worked providing mechanical services in medium-sized mining, such as air conditioning in mining equipment.

In the university I knew the programming which fascinated me. Getting to have a medium level of programming, being able to make Androit app and others. Although in recent years I have worked on projects more as a UI designer.

I also actively compete with my team in programming CTF.

I am currently very interested in starting to work with data science.

Last year I decided to study what I really wanted when I was little, which was archaeology.


whenever I can I try to go for a walk in different places, I really like mountaineering and climbing.


I really like photography but I don't have photos where I appear, I'm always the one who takes the photos.

    Hi Andrés! I understand your curiosity, I don't like the separation between humanist and scientist, I was a hard way to find what to study. But archaeology is everything. XXO

4. MY SPECIAL PHOTO

 I have loved photography for years. Like since I was in school. And of all the photos I've taken this one is special to me. (my mom's garden, maybe in 2018) This photo symbolizes how I started taking photos and learning about it. It represents my beginning in photography. The story behind this photo is quite curious but nothing in particular. I always wanted a manual camera (that the values can be adjusted manually) and when I bought my camera, I took it out of the box, I put the battery and a memory in it and I went out to the garden of my house to take pictures. And this is one of those photos I took. Then continue taking many photos and learning a lot, until the pandemic stops taking photos. This summer for a family trip I took pictures again with my camera. I rediscovered what photography produces in me. and that's all for this blog Thanks for reading bye

3. MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

Hello everyone !! My favorite piece of technology is the PC. Because I can do many things with it. I use my PC to work, study and play video games. I play Day-Z. My first PC was one with Windows 98. There I learned to use a computer for the first time. I played a lot of games on it, but I also learned a lot of things. In the pandemic I used my computer a lot again. I started programming more seriously. Together with my friend we realized that we could work creating our smartphone apps. So I focused more on learning UI (user interface) design. So now it's a bit difficult for me to program XD, I lost practice. With my friend we have the goal of living in 2023 from the money generated by our apps. I would recommend using a PC if you like video games or use something that needs a lot of power. Like editing videos, making animations. But for the most common use I think it is better to use a smartphone or a tablet, since now they are very good and smaller. this is my pc
